Treatment Courts
Treatment Courts offer the use of community resources
Treatment Courts offer the use of community resources to offer alternatives for persons charged with crimes related to their mental health symptoms, alcohol and/or substance use. Treatment courts are designed to help persons in their recovery process and/or break the cycle of alcohol and/or drug addiction and criminal activity, and improve the quality of life for themselves and our community.
The treatment court program is intended to address the underlying mental health issues and/or addictions of the offenders instead of focusing only on their crimes and punishment.
