Tri-County Mental Health Services depends on local volunteers to help us fulfill our mission. Rickey Pierce is a prime example of a local businessperson who takes the time to get involved and make the Northland a better place. Rickey serves as the Vice President of the Tri-County Foundation Board. The Tri-County Foundation Board is a separate organization recently revitalized to help Tri-County with fundraising and financial expertise.
Rickey was recently able to use his expertise as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer at the Hawthorn Bank Liberty LPO office to offer input on the Tri-County’s purchase of our headquarters building. In his work, he enjoys helping businesses grow and develop, just as he enjoys seeing Tri-County expand its services and the number of people it serves in the Northland.
Rickey and his wife Elicia have been married for 11 years, and both of them enjoy working and living in Clay County. When asked what he enjoys about serving on the Tri-County Foundation Board, he said that he loves working on a Board with a good group of involved, energetic people advocating for people struggling with mental health issues. He also has enjoyed getting to know Tri-County CEO Tom Petrizzo, whom he describes as a “hands-on driver of the organization.”
