May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we hope you’ll join Tri-County, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Community Council of Behavioral Health Centers, at the Mental Health Kansas City Conference May 11-12 at the Oracle Cerner Innovations Campus.

The conference focuses on bringing mental health awareness and education to anyone in the Kansas City area interested in breaking the stigma of mental health and working toward real change. In addition to community health, mental health, and social service workers, the conference provides vital information to business and human resources leaders and the general public.

The conference will include well-known keynote speakers and local and regional subject-matter experts who will offer engaging presentations about a variety of subjects focused on behavioral health and well-being. The program will include:

  • 54 breakout presentations on various mental health topics including: suicide prevention, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, workplace mental health issues, diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI), stigma, stress management, resilience and much more
  • Networking with peers interested in shattering the stigma surrounding mental illness
  • Well-known keynote speakers opening each mornings conference with fresh ideas on the topic of mental health and wellness
  • Information regarding community resources and educational programs

In order to keep this conference accessible to all, the cost for the conference is still only $50.

Please register before May 11. (Walk-ins will not be accepted.) Registration spots are limited and this conference often sells out so register early!
