7th annual Tri-County Heart and Sole 5K Saturday, April 28 at Zona Rosa

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tri-County Mental Health invites the community to join efforts to raise awareness and reduce stigma for children and families challenged with mental illness at its annual 5K run walk. This year’s Tri-County Heart and Sole 5K Run Walk will take place at Zona Rosa for the first time on Saturday, April 28.

This event will support Tri-County’s Children’s Services. Proceeds from the run walk will help sustain holiday assistance programs for children and families as well as other end-of-year initiatives for youth.

The cost before April 20 is $25 per runner and after April 20 is $30 per runner. Packet pick-up will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 27 at The Grove at Zona Rosa (located next to management offices).

Runners can still register on the day of the race from 7 to 8 a.m.

Runners start at 8 a.m. and walkers will begin immediately after. A “Fun Run” starts at 9 a.m.

The top three male and female runners will receive Zona Rosa gift cards, $100, $75 and $50 respectively. All finishers will receive a Heart and Sole 5K finisher’s medal.
