During the COVID-19 global pandemic, counseling programs have become a means of hope. Tri-County Mental Health Services was selected to be a part of the Missouri Show Me Hope Crisis Counseling Program serving the Clay, Platte and Ray counties in the Northland of Metro Kansas City. Through the Crisis Counseling Program, counselors provide support and resources to anyone dealing with anxiety and uncertainty caused by COVID-19. Show Me Hope helps people recover and rebuild their lives.

The following is a list of COVID-19-related support groups offered by Tri-County:

  • Family Support Group
    • Days offered: First and Third Wednesday of each month
    • Time: 6 to 7:30pm
    • About: Various topics will be covered each month to assist those supporting friends, family members and loved ones living with a mental illness

  • COVID-19 Survivors
    • Days offered: Every other Monday
    • Time: 6:30 to 7:30pm
    • About: This is a safe and open space for individuals who have had COVID-19 and are continuing to experience symptoms. Come share your story, connect with other long-haulers, and learn self-care practices.
