Tri-County Mental Health Services is offering the Aging Mastery Program (AMP) for those who are in a caregiver role to an older adult. This free course will start July 8 and meet for 12 consecutive weeks from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include lunch. Classes will take place at Northland Shepherd’s Center, 5601 N.E. Antioch Road, Suite 12, Gladstone, Mo.

The AMP curriculum is designed to promote healthy aging as you take care of yourself and your loved one. Class topics will include, healthy eating, financial fitness, end-of-life planning, medication management and more. This program will emphasize the importance of small, consistent changes over time leading to mastery of healthy habits.

The Aging Mastery Program (AMP) was founded by the National Council on Aging and is designed to offer practical strategies to empower others to age well. Registration is limited to 25 participants.
