Beacon Mental Health does not discriminate in the provision of services based on race, color, religion, marital status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, socio-economic status, or any other consideration made unlawful by applicable law. Beacon provides behavioral health services to the residents of Clay, Platte, and Ray counties through public funding mechanisms and the application of a sliding fee scale. Public funds and the sliding fee scale are applied to people who are ineligible for Medicaid, Medicare, or other insurance benefits, and who have insufficient other resources.
