Beacon is unique in that we have a web of providers that assist us in reaching as many clients as possible. Help us celebrate our outstanding “Contractors of the Year”. Karen Steele and Larry Lauvetz work tirelessly to help Beacon be successful in our goal to help our clients and community.
The nomination for Larry pointed out that “Larry Lauvetz has been a contract provider since January 1997. Larry always greets everyone with a huge smile and warm, welcoming ‘Hello!’. His sense of humor and friendly manner immediately puts clients and staff at ease. Larry brings his knowledge of community support into the therapeutic setting when needed which is a great asset to the client.” The nomination also praised Larry’s “high level of commitment to our clients that sets the standard for others to achieve. Instead of shying away from challenges, he always seeks a path that prioritizes client care and quality outcomes.”
The person who nominated Karen singled her out for her attitude, writing, “She maintains an optimistic attitude and focuses on quality service delivery to Beacon consumers.” The nomination also observed that Karen does a great job of maintaining a strong relationship with Beacon so that everyone is well-informed and gets the support they need to do their work effectively.”
Beacon is fortunate to have a strong roster of providers, Karen and Larry were recognized for their great work over many years. They work to help people in the Northland who are striving to improve their mental health. Both Karen and Larry have a strong dedication to caring for others and we at Beacon appreciate all they do to assist us in our goal in bringing the best services to our community.
